On March 10th, New Haven's Interreligious Communities Project representatives met with government officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Connecticut Intelligence Agency, The New Haven Police Department, the New Haven Fire Department, and the Department of Emergency Management, to discuss strategies for preventing and responding to hate crimes against religious groups and persons. This meeting was arranged to forward ICP New Haven's civic action project, which involves setting up a protocol for responding to hate.
