Toronto ICP Cohort after 3 Years, Going Strong

Embarking on the Interreligious Communities Project, this incredible group launched and completed their program entirely during the Covid pandemic. Co-led by Rev. Dr. John Joseph Mastandrea, and Ms. Vivian Kwok, nine congregations met online and gathered for virtual visits to one another's sacred spaces.

They met in person for the first time at their Solidarity Pledge signing, after all their site visits were complete.

Now, they are taking on projects to help their community, especially in the Regent Park area. They supported 24 displaced families find new housing after their apartment building's roof collapsed, and are starting a food pantry movement to alleviate the growing issue of hunger.

If you'd like to join in or support this group's efforts, or if you'd like to know more, please don't hesitate to contact vanessa@sharingsacredspaces.org or call (203) 609-3914.
