A founding Partner with Houser Walker Architecture, Hank has worked in the construction industry as an architect, builder, and developer since 1990. Hank has particular expertise with liturgical and cultural projects, planning for construction, sustainable building technologies and daylighting.  

 

Houser Walker Architecture was awarded AIA Atlanta’s 2017 Firm of the Year and AIA Georgia’s 2021 Firm of the Year for design leadership. Hank’s individual design work has won numerous design excellence awards from the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, Faith and Form, Wood Institute, The Georgia Trust for Preservation, and Engineering News Network.

 

One of Hank’s key strengths is his ability to guide diverse stakeholders towards consensus. Hank believes this aptitude is the upshot to his core belief that the essence of great architecture is the integration of multiple, complex inputs into a holistic, cohesive and beautiful resolution.
