About the Event
Union Baptist Church (UBC) was founded over 131 years ago by 25 enslaved persons who transformed a dance hall into an edifice for Sunday worship. With a warm "come as you are" welcome, Union Baptist Church has been a beacon of light for their community.
In a group spanning over 6 different religious traditions, we will *meet* to tour Union Baptist Church, expand our knowledge of this community's beliefs and practices, experience a ritual, hear from members about their spiritual journeys, and share an online activity and discussion. In this challenging time, please join us to stay not just connected, but spiritually interconnected!
