About the Event
This group of seven congregations around the NoVA/DC region has spent more than a year engaged in an interreligious effort to build understanding and solidarity across differences. Even in this time of heightened bias and polarization, gathering and sharing our mutual humanity seeds hope and breeds positive action.
Please join us, along with our partner faith communities, for a celebration of their work together and the relationships that have been built as they pledge on-going solidarity in the interest of peace, understanding, and safe communities. Connect with us at this event to see how you can participate as well.
The Solidarity Pledge Ceremony will take place at the Historic Blenheim Interpretive Center (3610 Blenheim Boulevard, Fairfax, VA) on Sunday, September 15th, 3:00pm-5:00pm.    The ceremonial pledge-signing will begin at 3:00, beginning and ending with a special performance by Sufi Melody.  After the ceremony, we will enjoy each other’s company, delicious food, delightful music by a classical stringed trio, and the beautiful landscape of Historic Blenheim Interpretive Center.  We hope you will join in the celebration!   You may contact us directly with any questions at meagan@sharingsacredspaces.org or 817.677.8933.   This event is part of the Interreligious Communities Project Northern Virginia/Washington DC with Sharing Sacred Spaces and local host Rumi Forum.
A very warm and grateful thank you to The William and Mary Greve Foundation for supporting this project and this event.
