About the Event
Congregations from 7 different religious traditions in the Dallas region have spent more than a year engaged in an interreligious effort to build understanding and solidarity across differences. What an incredible and joyful journey it has been!
Please join all of the partner organizations and faith communities for a celebration of their work together and the relationships that have been built as they pledge on-going solidarity in the interest of peace, understanding, human thriving, and safe communities.Â
The Solidarity Pledge Ceremony will take place in the Chapel of Thanksgiving in Thanks-Giving Square, alongside Ervay Street. The ceremonial pledge-signing will begin at 4:00pm and will include a keynote address by Sharing Sacred Spaces Executive Director Dr. Vanessa Avery and performance of an original choral piece written by ICP participant Mary Ann Taylor.
