About the Event
This will be an interfaith visit with representatives from at least 6 different religions present to explore sacred space with the Firefly House group. This visit is run by Sharing Sacred Spaces, and is part of the Interreligious Communities Project taking place in Northern Virginia. There will be 7 visits to different sacred spaces as part of this program over the course of 2023-2024. There will be 7 "experiences" in fact; not just visits. We go deep into the architectural design of each space which opens up new avenues for connecting the material and the spiritual. Members of each congregation will also share about thier worldview, spiritual journeys, and history. We then share a meal and dialogue. Join us for one visit or all of them! Everyone is welcome, and please click here to learn the etiquette for each sacred space.
