About the Event

Come explore the fascinating architectural space of the over 25,000 square foot Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple in Frisco, Texas.  At this sacred site visit, you will have the chance to learn about Hindu beliefs and practices, engage in an in-depth religious/architectural tour, witness a Hindu ritual, learn about this congregation's community history, hear individual spiritual journeys, and enjoy a delicious vegetarian dinner!

In the Greater Dallas area? Come and meet your neighbors!

This will be an interfaith visit with representatives from at least 7 different religions present to explore the sacred space of this Hindu Hanuman Temple. This visit is run by Sharing Sacred Spaces in partnership with Thanks-Giving Foundation and local congregational partners, and is part of the Interreligious Communities Project, Dallas, TX.  There will be 8 visits to different sacred spaces as part of this program over the course of 2024-2025.  There will be 8 "experiences" in fact; not just visits.  We go deep into the architectural design of each space which opens up new avenues for connecting the material and the spiritual.  Members of each congregation will also share about their worldview, spiritual journeys, and history.  We then share a meal and dialogue.  Join us for this one visit or all of them!  Click here to see the full schedule of visits for the year.

This visit to the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple is the first of the series, by the way, and you won't want to miss it.

Please note this etiquette for visiting the Temple:

  • Dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees, and remove shoes before entering the temple.  (Socks are okay.)
  • Maintain silence and respect during prayer and ritual demonstrations.
  • Refrain from using mobile phones inside the temple to preserve the sanctity of the space.

Parking at the Temple is available in concrete and gravel lots around the temple. When coming for this site visit, you will enter the Temple at the largest tower.  (Volunteers will be present to assist.)

More on the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple and the rest of the sacred sites participating in the program can be found here.
