About the Event

This series, hosted by Dr. Michael Crosbie, will present four viewpoints by designers of sacred space who strive for inclusive design. The webinars will explore how design itself can challenge exclusivity and promote inclusion, which ultimately enhances diversity both within the space and beyond out into the community. The series will also consider the idea of “integral ecology,” which encompasses not only environmental concerns, but also how we express care for others beyond the congregation, and welcome the stranger. Our host, Dr. Michael J. Crosbie, has written and lectured extensively about contemporary sacred space, and serves as a Sharing Sacred Spaces board member.
