About the Event
Please join the first stop in this year's interfaith exploration of sacred spaces around Northern Virginia! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a sacred space visit at their Falls Church meeting house on Tuesday, March 24th, 6:30-9:00 PM. (Registration opens at 6:15 PM.) We can't wait to share in this experience with you!
Founded in 1830 and spreading across the globe within decades, the Church provides a space where faith, family, and service to all of God's children are lived out through worship, volunteer leadership, and a deep commitment to one another.
With dinner and dessert as “bookends” to this delightful evening, we'll discover the unique aspects of this remarkable global tradition led entirely by volunteers, learn about the magnificent architecture of LDS temples, and experience some of the more intimate aspects and ritual traditions particular to the faith.
