About the Event
In 2021 and 2022 the Architecture, Culture and Spirituality Forum, in partnership with the Center of Theological Inquiry, convened a series of roundtable discussions in Princeton, New Jersey. Experts from a range of disciplines explored spiritual approaches to ethical, environmental, and transcendent issues and the built environment.
Justice and Participation, addressed spatial, economic, environmental, and professional injustices
Environmental Adaptation and Ecotechnology, climate change, globalization, and urbanization
Transcendent Human Habitats, the loss of place, cultural identity and meaning.
This resulting film is an urgent call for the design professions to seek, design, and implement holistic solutions to our most pressing problems.
Composed of equal measures of awareness, insight, and imagination, the thought expressed in these conversations will guide viewers to make the right choice between possible realities and real possibilities for a better world. Â David E. Leatherbarrow, Emeritus Professor of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania.
