About the Event
The DFW Alliance for Religious Freedom and Human Dignity is committed to advocating for the protection and advancement of religious liberty in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The 9th Annual Summit, featuring distinguished speakers, panel discussions, and dinner, will be held at Southern Methodist University on October 22nd, 3pm-8pm CT. Sharing Sacred Spaces will be represented at the event by executive director, Dr. Vanessa Avery.
If you cannot join us for the whole event, please join us at 5pm and for dinner, for the Session III Panel: Emerging Challenges and the Role of Peacemaking in America’s Changing Religious Landscape. This panel will be an examination of contemporary questions facing religious liberty in an increasingly diverse and interconnected society. Discussion will explore how Americans can pursue robust protections for religious exercise while honoring principles of peacemaking, dignity, inclusion, and pluralism for all.
