About Dallas ICP
The Dallas Interreligious Communities Project (ICP) brought together eight diverse congregations from across the metroplex to open their sacred spaces, extend hospitality, and build relationships grounded in mutual respect and curiosity. Launching in September 2024, the cohort journeyed together through spring 2025 — visiting temples, mosques, churches, and synagogues — and culminating in a citywide Solidarity Pledge celebration on June 22, 2025.
Each visit was far more than a tour — it was an experience of dialogue, story-sharing, and reflection. Participants explored architecture, ritual, and communal histories while practicing listening and depolarizing skills gained through the Interfaith Core Leadership Training. By year’s end, Dallas ICP had woven a network of friendship and understanding that now stands as a model for how religious difference can become a bridge for peace.
